Totally obsessing over these gorgeous vintage floral prints. Some of these might give you some grandma vibes but in the very best way! Like, I wanna be that kind of grandma! But in all honesty, prints similar to these can be found in many current designer collections. All of these are under $75, but most of them are around the $20 mark! I love finding these affordable gems. It’s so hard to choose which ones to get because they are all so perfect! (This dress I already own & it’s even better in person!) Happy shopping!

What do Audrey Hepburn, red lipstick, The Beatles, & a tweed dress all have in common? They are all considered, timeless. These things are not affected by time or changes in fashion. They will always remain classic & universally adored. As each year passes, I find myself gravitating towards things in life that have that timeless feeling to them. I even ended up choosing a wedding dress with this same feeling in mind. So when I saw this gorgeous tweed dress from Chicwish, I knew my wardrobe would thank me for adding this piece time & time again.
Once I received this dress, I realized just how special it was. It feels quite expensive & the pearl buttons are utter perfection. This piece has a very comfortable fit making it cozy & easy to wear. A dress like this can be paired with so many different shoe options. Heels of almost any color are a no-brainer, but a gorgeous pair of ballet flats would look just a stunning. I’m also currently swooning over these bow kitten heels that I think would look so lovely with this dress.
Now, I bet some of you may be thinking, “I love the dress, but when would I ever wear that?” Well let me tell you some of my favorite occasions to wear a piece like this. This dress was just meant for a dreamy Sunday brunch at a Parisian cafe. It would look oh-so chic on a fancy dinner date with your man on a chilly night seeing as though this dress is quite warm. I can also see myself wearing this dress for rooftop cocktails or the see a show, maybe even a ballet.
Anyone else like to go to museums by themselves? I actually prefer it so that you can take as much time as you’d like for each piece. This dress would be absolutely perfect for a solo day at the museum or botanical garden. I see this dress as the most feminine of power suits. The ideal dress code for a reflective day full of art, beauty, & a few cappuccinos.
One huge fall trend this year is animal print. It is literally EVERYWHERE! I’ve loved a good leopard print for as long as I can remember. In fact, I tried to start a #CheetahRevolution when I was 18 years old. Leopard isn’t the only animal print currently on trend. Some other big ones include snake print & croc style.
Even though I am clearly a big fan of leopard print, I’ve been considering how this print fits into my current classic & feminine style. Today I am sharing how I will be incorporating this trend into my wardrobe this season as well as some of my favorite pieces that can be added to just about any wardrobe.
Typically, I would say that leopard print is a neutral, so wear it as such, but this dress makes quite the statement. The reason I went for something so bold was two-fold: the colors are comprised of many of my favorite fall tones I wear regularly & the silhouette this dress creates is very feminine & a go-to in my closet. Usually when I find something with a bold print or pattern, but they fit both of the above requirements, I know it will fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. A good way to make sure of this is knowing that the colors are ones that you wear regularly, & the shape of the item is a classic silhouette you are always drawn to.
Another way I like to incorporate animal print is with accessories. This is definitely the easiest & safest way to wear this trend. Think scarves, berets, shoes, & handbags. These pieces are easy to pair with items currently in your wardrobe. To ensure an easy fit, make sure the print stays in its true & natural colors. Then you can really treat these items as a neutral & wear them with almost anything.
Whenever I’m unsure about what to wear on a fall morning, outfits like this one are always my go-to. It’s comprised of a simple template that can be created over and over again by just changing out the pieces. The template is as follows: a cozy fall sweater, a mini skirt, a scarf, & either a simple pair of ballet flats or knee high boots depending on how chilly it is outside. It’s that easy. This template creates the perfect fall silhouette that instantly makes you look put together & classically chic.
This bright orange-red color is so big this season. I love the combination of the bright chunky sweater with the matching ballet flats. The tan leather mini skirt I found at Zara last year is the perfect neutral piece to break up the color. I also just love how this black bag goes with the tan skirt. It’s such a classic fall combo. My favorite blue scarf really pulls this look together & gives the look that Parisian flare that I always crave in an outfit.

Now it’s your turn! Mix up some items in your wardrobe using this template & see how many new outfits you can make. It’s so easy! Let me know how it goes! xx
Fall brings about a sort of nostalgia for me. It takes me back to classic styles, traditional fall tones & a cross between Parisian & preppy style. It’s the chilly football games with friends, or the hot coffee on my morning commute in the City under the changing leaves. Fall means cozy, effortless, closeness, warmth, crisp air, joy, & romance. I want my clothes to embrace all of those things during this season & today I’m rounding up all of my favorite fall classics at the most affordable prices. There is something for everyone here. Let’s dive right into that classic feel.
I tried to stay under $50 in this round up, there are just a couple over but I had to still include them. These are all such gorgeous pieces, & if you hover over each picture, you can see the amazing price point they are at.
I actually own quite a few of these pieces. The picture of this navy & gold tweed skirt definitely doesn’t do it justice, but this has been in my wardrobe for over a year now, & is one of my fall favorites. Also, just purchased 2 new pairs of boots for the season (here & here) that are both under $45! Let me tell you, they are gorgeous! My green long sleeve dress (seen here) is under $25. You’ll be seeing this tweed jacket & this ruffled skirt here on the blog soon. Lastly, this super cute crossbody bag received so many compliments last season & I’m thrilled to see it around again.
