On The Face
I’ve been wearing the Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint on my face for quite a few months now & absolutely love how it looks & feels on my skin. It’s quite sheer, so it lets my skin show through, but it does a great job of evening out my skin tone & giving my a healthy glow.
Since this product is rather sheer, I find that my face looks best when I add more coverage just to the center of my face rather than covering every single inch. I apply my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer liberally around my eyes, down my nose, around my nose where I tend to have redness or veins, & then a bit on my chin & the center of my forehead to even everything out. I make sure my concealer is just slightly lighter than my skin tone to add a natural highlight to the center of my face. To set all of the concealer in place for the day, I swipe a mixture of the two lighter shades in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette over all of those places I just mentioned. For the rest of the face, I go for a more matte powder to set the tint, & to keep the excess shine at bay.
Then to give my face some shape & warmth, I reach for my very favorite Hourglass Bronzer. I use this around the perimeter of my face, my cheekbones, & down my neck. The blush I’ve fallen back in love with is an oldie but a goodie…none other than NARS Orgasm. This shade is universally flattering & one I never regret wearing regardless of season or occasion. I have quite a few highlighters, but recently I’ve been reaching for my super affordable Maybelline highlighter in the shade Rose Gold. This combination of face products has been perfection & just the right amount of casual, but still glowy-glam.
On The Eyes
On my eyes, I’ve been sticking to a super easy 2 shadows look. First, I fluff the shade Caramel by Anastasia Beverly Hills into my crease. Then I take another ABH shade called Pink Champagne with my fingertips & pat it all over the lid, making sure it doesn’t go too high into the crease. I then go back in with the first shade to blend the crease out one last time. Next, with a smaller brush, I take Caramel & lightly brush it along my lower lash line. For a little brightness in my inner corner, I add a touch of my Maybelline liner in Gold (my secret weapon!). To finish off the eyes, I apply a couple coats of my favorite mascara at the moment by Marc Jacobs.
For my brows, I’ve been throughly enjoying the L’Oreal Brow Stylist. This makes filling in & sculpting my brows a breeze each morning. The shade, Brunette, is perfectly bold for me. Then I do a quick sweep of my beloved, Glossier Boy Brow, to lock them into place. I can’t go without this product, I even have backups on hand!
On The Lips
I do love to switch things up on my lips almost daily, but the one product that has been the easiest to apply, looks great, & keep my lips moisturized has been Black Honey by Clinique. This treasure was added to my collection the day after Christmas & I’m just so shocked I didn’t know about it sooner! Such a huge fan of this formula & I am desperate to own more shades.
