**Here are some helpful tips about some of these products:**

My favorite Melted shades are Chihuahua and Fig.
I have the Becca x Jaclyn Hill split pan in Champagne Pop and Flower Child. GORGEOUS!
I’ve had Gold Mine for a while, and I am nearing the end of my bottle! I will definitely be repurchasing this because of the most beautiful subtle glitter it leaves in your hair, as well and working as a leave-in conditioner and smelling amazing!
I can’t live without my beauty blender! AND the solid cleanser is literally the most amazing thing to wash it with! It makes it pink again!
This Power Couple by Sunday Riley is what dreams are made of. I’ve actually been ok with going out without any makeup on recently, and I have to say it’s thanks to these two! Plump, even, and youthful skin…check!
Bum Bum cream. Yes…It’s for your bum bum! It smells incredible and really firms the skin.
The Extravagant Eyes package is sooo good! I got it over a month ago and I’m in love! My favorites: “Samantha” Huda lashes, and “Midnight Cowboy” glitter liner.
I’m already hitting pan on my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette! It’ stunning to set my under eye or to dust lightly all over my face!
I’m obsessed with the DryBar Triple Sec! Volumizer, Texturizer, dry shampoo and a scent that lingers for days! Yes, please!
With my curly hair, I don’t brush my hair everyday. But when I do, I always grab my Tangle Teaser. Definitely the most gentle way to brush through my curly and tangled hair.
I put both Bourbon and Rose on here because they are both amazing and I can’t choose which one I love more!
I either use Luna or Rapid Wrinkle Repair every night for my retinol treatment.
The Ciate Nail Polish Set is perfect for splitting up and giving one or two to several of your girlfriends!

Friday Five

Hello Everyone!
Here are a few of my current favorite things. Enjoy!

1. This necklace was my birthday gift to myself and I can’t stop wearing it! I love how delicate and dainty it is. It’s perfect for me because I am able to still wear it at work, while I am dancing.

2. I know I’m totally on my annual Audrey Assad kick, but this song…obsessed.

3. This lip gloss was a recent find in the (fairly) new Soap & Glory section at the Walgreens in Carytown. This Soap & Glory Pillow Plump is CRAZY! It totally feels like it’s plumping your lips with it’s tingly and almost vibrating effect. I got it in the shade Coy Toy (#Tatiapproved) which is a peachy pink color. It’s really beautiful and lasts for hours. Be warned that it feels so strange at first, but I have grown to love it!

4. A YouTuber and fellow blogger Kate La Vie shared that she had this totally affordable phone case and I fell in love! I finally picked up this H&M Gold iPhone Case ($7.99) during my most recent trip to the mall. Not only is it beautiful, but also quite sturdy and protective. If you’re in need of a new iPhone case, look no further!

5. Designated Survivor. This new show on ABC is definitely my new favorite! If you need a distraction from our current political situation, check this show out! #KieferSutherlandforPresident

I hope you all are having a fantastic Friday! xx

Makeup Tutorial feat. Winged Liner and Bold Red Lip

Hello Everyone!
I got a request to do a tutorial on this look, and I really like how it turned out! This is such a classic look: neutral eyes with a winged liner, bright red lips, and glowing cheeks. Of course, this simple look can be done so many ways, but this is my take on it! Hope you like it!
Before I put all of these gorgeous products on my face, I moisturized my skin with my Origins Ginzing Moisturizer and primed with my Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer.
For foundation I used my favorite combo of MilaniL’Oreal, and Cover FX (for full explanation check out my previous tutorial) and concealed with my Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. I set my under eyes and t-zone with the banana powder from my ABH Contour Kit and the rest of my face with my Maybelline Fit Me powder. I shaped and filled in my brows using my L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer and set them with my Benefit Gimme Brow
Moving on to eyes, I wanted them to look very natural, but added a little bit of shadow for dimension. Since I am still so in love with my ABH Master Palette by Mario, I took the shade LULA, which is a soft taupe with an ultra matte finish, on a natural haired blending brush and very lightly blended that into my crease while focusing mostly on the outer portion. Then to add a little brightness to the lid, I patted the shade HOLLYWOOD, which is a metallic wheat gold with a satin finish, on my lid (below the crease) with my finger. I focused this color primarily on the inner portion of my lid.
Now for the fun/terrifying part…the winged liner.
There are soooo many tips and tricks on how to make the perfect wing, but this is how I like to do it. I started with the wing, or the flick. You can make this as long or as short as you want, I did mine longer this time for a more dramatic look. My tip is to continue the line of your lower lash line up towards the end of your brow.
Once I created the first line (using my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper), I drew a line from the wing back to the center of my lash line.
Then all I had to do was fill in the wing and finish lining my eye.

Here’s the best part…
I did the best I could but it was ok that my lines weren’t smooth and perfect!
I took a matte black eyeshadow (any will do, I used one from my Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette) on a small angled definer brush, and smoothed over my entire line. This sets the liquid liner while also perfecting the line of my wing.

Then I curled my lashes and applied a generous layer of my Better Than Sex mascara.
I finished my face by applying my Butter Bronzer on the perimeter of my face, Sunburst to my cheek bones, tip of my nose, cupid’s bow, and inner corners of my eyes, and Luminoso to the apples of my cheeks. I think Luminoso is particularly perfect for this look. It’s a luminous peach toned blush that brings such a youthful glow to the face.
Before I started my lips, I made sure to use a lip scrub to exfoliate and prep my lips.
I then lined my lips with my Jordana liner in Sedona Red to create the perfect outline for my liquid lipstick.
I chose my ABH Liquid Lipstick in American Doll for this look because is it a stunning classic red. I applied this all over my lips staying in the lines I already created with my liner.
This could have been my final look (completed of course with my favorite Pure Bliss Setting Spray). It’s beautiful with natural glamour…
BUT…
…that dramatic wing called for some dramatic lashes, am I right?!
I went with my Knockout lashes by House of Lashes to create a more rounded eye look in contrast to my winged liner.

I love this look! Hope you guys do too!
Perfect for the holiday season coming up as well!

What I Wore

Hello Everyone!
I am starting a new series of outfits I have worn!
This outfit was worn last week to an upscale work event that included a rooftop cocktail hour and a sit down dinner. It was a lovely event, and the weather was perfection…but let’s get to the good stuff:
First things first, this outfit is solely from Forever 21 (not sponsored) and under $70!
This Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater is a go-to in my wardrobe. It’s a perfect fall staple that can be easily dressed up or down. And this one is only $12!
My Floral Print A-Line Skirt looks way more expensive than it actually is. It’s cut and fullness provides such vintage glamour. I found this one for only $30!
These Faux Suede Pointed Pumps were just what this outfit needed. They were as cute as they were comfortable, which is a must for these dancer feet of mine. I bought them for $20, but they are on sale now for $14!
The earrings were passed down to me from my mom. I almost went with a statement necklace, but I think these earring completed this look perfectly.
My makeup definitely had some stand out products.
First, I used my Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection with Champagne Pop for my highlight (classic… #YouTubemademe) and Flowerchild for blush. This combination is great for events. The blush is not over the top, but it brings a gorgeous flush to the face. Champagne Pop is a peachy gold highlight that adds so much glamour to a full face of makeup. I have to be honest, this highlight doesn’t look as great on my fair skin without some bronzer to balance it out. For events like this, that’s not an issue, but for everyday, I reach for other highlights.
Next, for lips I chose Kiss Kiss Bang Bang by Marc Jacobs. It’s a beautiful baked rose color with a creamy, comfortable formula.
My scent for the night was Something Wild by DEREK LAM 10 CROSBY.  Every time I wear this, people ask me what I am wearing. I’m obsessed with this fragrance! It has quite a steep price, so for now I’m making this sample last as long as I can, but I’m sure it will fine it’s way into my collection.
Then on my nails, I wore essie Nail Color in Penny Talk. It’s a stunning rose gold color with a metallic finish. This polish does chip, so be sure to wear a top coat and be gentle with your nails, but the color is worth it.
And lastly, I wore a new set of lashes by Tricky Hair Extensions. These brand new, 3D Mink lashes really made my eyes pop and steal the show! They are very soft and easy to apply, however next time I wear them, I will need to trim the edges because they were a little too long for my eyes.
They can totally be dressed up or dressed down. I took this picture while I was getting ready, and they looked gorgeous even with a more natural, daytime look.

Here they are close up on my eyes.
They taper quite beautifully at the ends making them look like real lashes.

Here they are in glam mode. Aren’t they stunning?! I definitely felt pretty in them at my event.
