My Kind Of NYE Look
I wanted to create a NYE look that was a little bit different from the norm. Don’t get me wrong, this look is still full of glitz & glamour, but with a very feminine feel & a touch of comfort. Why wear an uncomfortable dress to an event you’ll attend all night long? This look features a backless, comfortable & extremely affordable dress, shoes & earrings full of sparkles, a faux fur coat to wrap up in, & the perfect pink look. This is my kind of New Year’s Eve Outfit.
5 Pieces For Feminine Glamour
1. The Cozy, Flirty Dress
This year, I chose to go with a ribbed pink midi dress with long sleeves. What you can’t see in these photos in the gorgeous open back that ties in a bow around the neck. It’s so comfortable with a touch of drama, which I so love. I’m always so cold going out on NYE, so the fact that this dress has lovely long sleeves is a huge plus in my book.
2. The Perfect Pair Of Glitzy Earrings
I fell absolutely in love with these Oscar De La Renta Bow Earrings that were way out of my price range, so when I found these amazing bow earring with such a similar feel & so affordable, I bought them immediately. Glitzy earrings are a must for your NYE events this year.
3. Party Heels With Some Shine
For a night like NYE, going for a slightly shorter heel, or even a kitten heel is key for both comfort & glamour. Why is it that a kitten heel adds such a feminine touch to a look? Anyways, I love them. Add a little sparkle & you’re golden.
4. Feminine Clutch
A dainty clutch is the perfect touch to your evening look. Carrying a clutch elevates your look & instantly adds a feel of glamour. I’m in the market for adding a few more of these to my wardrobe, if I’m honest.
5. Match Your Lipstick With Your Dress
I love doing this. This simple detail seals the whole look. Don’t worry about being too “matchy-matchy”. Trust me, this just works. For this outfit, Audrey by Laura Mercier was the absolute perfect match with my dress.
